The free CRM that doesn't trick you
Most 'free' CRMs cap users, contacts, automation, sequences, or reports — then upsell you to a $90/user/month tier. B2B CRM is genuinely free. Here's why we did it that way.
- → Most 'free' CRMs are bait-and-switch — free until you need automation, sequences, or 11+ users.
- → B2B CRM is genuinely free for unlimited users, deals, contacts, automation, sequences, custom reports — every CRM feature.
- → The paid layer is five AI agents on top, $49 each per month, opt-in. That's the entire monetisation model.
What “free CRM” means in 2026
If you Google “free CRM” today, the top results are HubSpot Free, Bitrix24, Zoho CRM Free, Freshsales Free, and a handful of others. They all use the word “free.” Almost none of them are.
Here’s the actual paywall on the most-recommended ones:
HubSpot Free CRM
- ✅ Free for unlimited users.
- ❌ No workflow automation (Pro tier — $90/user/month).
- ❌ No sales sequences (Pro tier — $90/user/month).
- ❌ Custom reports limited to a small set; full reporting on Pro.
- ❌ AI features behind Pro/Enterprise.
- ❌ 10 custom properties on Free; unlimited on Pro.
The actual “free CRM” is a contact list with a pipeline view. The moment you want to operationalise it (workflows, sequences, reports), you’re on Pro.
Bitrix24 Free
- ✅ Free for up to 12 users.
- ❌ Hard cap at 12 users (then $61–$199/month for the team).
- ❌ Limited storage.
- ❌ Limited sales automation features.
The “free” here means “demo for small teams.”
Zoho CRM Free
- ✅ Free for up to 3 users.
- ❌ Hard cap at 3 users.
The “free” here means “free trial that doesn’t expire.”
Freshsales Free
- ✅ Free for unlimited users.
- ❌ No sales sequences (paid tier).
- ❌ No reports beyond basic.
- ❌ Limited custom fields.
The pattern: free for the marketing material, paid for the actual job.
What B2B CRM means by “free”
Free means free. To be specific:
{% table %}
- Feature
- B2B CRM Free
- Users
- Unlimited
- Deals
- Unlimited
- Contacts
- Unlimited
- Custom fields
- Unlimited
- Visual pipeline
- ✅
- Workflow automation
- ✅
- Email sync (two-way)
- ✅
- Email templates + sequences
- ✅
- Reports & analytics
- ✅
- Public REST API

- Time limit
- None

- No {% /table %}
Every feature in the table above is free. Forever. No demo timer, no upgrade nag, no “advanced” tier-gate.
Why we can do this
Two reasons:
1. The value layer for B2B sales has moved
Generic CRMs charge per seat for the CRM itself. That made sense in 2010 when the CRM was the most valuable surface in your sales stack. In 2026, it isn’t anymore. The most valuable surface is the agentic layer — the AI agents that work the deals. Research, outreach drafting, qualification, call summarisation, hygiene. That’s where real work moves from human cost to software cost.
So we charge for the agents, not for the CRM underneath. Each agent is $49/month, flat, opt-in. If you don’t want agents, the CRM is free and you owe us nothing.
2. The agents work better with more context
The Research Agent is dramatically more useful when it’s working on a pipeline that’s been running for 6 months. The Hygiene Agent is more valuable when there’s CRM data to clean. The Call-Summary Agent needs deals to attach summaries to.
So we want every B2B SME team to start running their pipeline on B2B CRM from day one. Free is the only way to remove the friction.
What’s the catch?
Three honest answers:
1. We’re newer than HubSpot
HubSpot has been around since 2006. We haven’t. Our integration count is smaller (100+ vs HubSpot’s 1,500+). Our brand recognition is smaller. If those things matter to your team, HubSpot is the right choice today.
2. The AI agents are in private beta
The agents are not yet generally available. We’re onboarding new teams every Monday so each agent has time to learn on real pipeline data before we open further. If you need fully GA AI features today, we’re not the right choice yet — come back in 6 months.
3. We’re a focused B2B SME tool
We don’t have a marketing hub. We don’t have a service hub. We don’t have a CMS. If you want a single-vendor stack covering all those things, HubSpot is the right choice. We’re built for B2B SME sales specifically.
How “free CRM + paid agents” actually compares
A 5-person B2B SME sales team, fully loaded:
{% table %}
- Setup
- Annualised cost
- HubSpot Free
- $0 (and you can’t actually run the team on it)
- HubSpot Sales Hub Pro (5 seats)
- $5,400
- HubSpot Pro + Apollo (5 seats)
- $10,140
- B2B CRM Free
- $0 (and you can run the team on it)
- B2B CRM + all 5 AI agents
- $2,940 {% /table %}
The free tier is not a teaser. It’s the core offering.
